Perspective from a 2-year owner 65K to 85K miles
Nosotros've had this car for 2 years and put 20K miles on information technology. Nosotros're the 3rd possessor and it's driven mostly by my wife. Lesser line, we love the car. It's a confident ride, even in incremental weather with xDrive. My Hendrick BMW counselor told me it was built on a seven Series Chasis. Information technology's huge inside with reclining back seats! The double rear hatch design is unique only we rarely open up the lower hatch so I'yard not sure why information technology was engineered that manner. I'm in my early 50'south and this is our sixth BMW. I'd say my 2000 BMW 735i with staggered M Wheels was my favorite but now that nosotros have a large family unit, this serves us well. Costco trips are a breeze and the panoramic roof is wonderful...until information technology broke. If you don't accept the means to deal with repair costs, buy a Honda. I say this sincerely. Nosotros bought information technology for $19,500 cash from a individual owner. At that fourth dimension, dealerships were asking just nether $25K. In 2 years, we've purchased run-flat tires, Air-conditioning blower motor and Last Stage Unit (bought the parts from Bav Car and installed them myself), Spark Plugs (they accept to be BMW - installed myself), air struts died in the rear (BMW specialist store), various suspension components (BMW specialty shop), battery, and only last calendar week the sunshade ripped autonomously on it'due south tracks. Nosotros've spent about $half-dozen,000 in repairs (I'm including the quote on the panoramic sunroof and left out the cost of the tires). I'm not shocked because my previous two 5 Serial BMW's had issues. Just my old 1986 325 never gave me issues for four years. I practice love this car but it's costly to maintain. Now with 85K miles I'm certain we'll see more surprises, but my wife insists on keeping it. Personally I'd rather see her in a Lexus GS 350 AWD merely she says the Lexus is dull. BTW - on ii occasions the engine completely shut downward on her and left her stranded. We took it to the BMW dealers and they plant no bug. I don't experience she'd have this in a Lexus.

Picked it upward in July 2011 European commitment. Fantastic auto, comfortable and $30,000 discount over the 7 serial (an old man?s motorcar). But bummed they discontinued it. Volition drive information technology till information technology dies. 120,000 miles and counting.

Only neat car for performance, manner, and nevertheless great taking kids to & from school/sports whatever & whenever. It wows people as you take your client to a venue & they go far the back seat & say "this feels similar an executive car." The whole time you know your kids ride back there every twenty-four hours to schoolhouse & never hear that from them! Lol

I have always wanted to bulldoze something unique and voila...ready my eyes on a 2011 Certified Pre-Owned 535i GT with 29,000 miles. It gives me the legroom of a seven series and caput room of an X5. So I brought it in 2015 and hither are my thoughts after 2 years of owning it: Advantages: - Unmatched stability & confident handling at highway speeds - Abundant toys (soft close doors, heads up brandish, Lane & Blind spot assist) Disadvantages: - On slower speeds, not anywhere as nimble equally a regular 5 series. (subsequently all, it technically on a vii series chassis) - Replaced the battery (non covered under warranty) as it complained of "increased belch". Several owners take complained near this issue.

I have owned this motorcar for a calendar month now and however drive information technology in circle because it is that nice of a ride. Smooth ride and the colour schemes for the 535GT are beautiful. I take the Grey with brown leather and it is very dainty. Though its widely compared to the Audi A6, I believe its a affair of preference. Nevertheless, if y'all desire the faster sedan the GT volition blow the doors of the Audi. The 21-30 miles to gallon isn't anything to not brag about either. Honey this machine!

I admittedly honey the 535GT. Very comfortable and luxurious at the same time powerful and nimble like a sports car. If you are looking for a v serial or an X5 or X3 you lot should seriously consider the GT. Its equally spacious as the X5 nevertheless drives like a v series.

Owned the automobile for 2 days at present, and it has been impressive as expected from the test drive. The Car - I bought the xdrive with (Dynamic Handling, Winter, Sound, Driver assits, Sport and conv packages. I drove a 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD with everything. Verdict - The 535GT is improve a better car than the Acura TL in all aspects. From costly and roomy interior, the smoothness of the accelration/cornering, the technology to very little details. I also looked into the Mercede E class, just the toll of maintanance was not included similar the BMWs. Collection this on the highway a few times at present, and I had to double check my speedometer to make sure that I was not going too fast, as the automobile is so repose and smooth, that y'all do non realize you are doing over 70mph. There are so much data between the nuance, and the iDrive system that you will not ever take to guess what might exist incorrect on this machine. Lesser line - I am very happy with the purchase of this car. The MSRP for my motorcar was over $72, and I bought it at $66k. This include the dealer taking my TL with 8 months left on my lease. I have not nonetheless fabricated upwards my mind if the motorcar is worth 25k more than the TL, but and then far, information technology has impressed. The production of the 2011 model has stopped and there are non many left at the dealers. Go this car if you desire skilful value, bully driving experience (not a typical BMW, but improve than the rest), varsetile use.
